What other info do I need to know?

Please note that East Georgia State College is a member of the University System of Georgia and a participant of GEORGIA MATCH. GEORGIA MATCH is coordinated through the Georgia Student Finance Commission and information on the program can be found at www.gafutures.org.

GEORGIA MATCH is not a guarantee of admission to any of the colleges; you must still apply for admission and provide your final official high school transcript after graduation to the institution(s) of your choice.

GEORGIA MATCH does not mean you automatically qualify for the HOPE or Zell Miller scholarships and grants; you must still meet the program requirements and apply. Complete the GSFAPP or FAFSA then the Financial Aid Office of the college you claim your spot with will determine your eligibility.

If your final calculated HOPE GPA (at the time of graduation) is lower than what it was at the time of the GEORGIA MATCH letter, your options for admission may change.
