Student Services Links at Statesboro

Student Services for students attending East Georgia State College at Statesboro are provided by Georgia Southern University. Because EGSC-S students pay the GSU Student Services fees, they receive a GSU student identification card (Eagle Card), which enables them to utilize GSU's library facilities, computer labs, and Health Services; participate in clubs and intramural sports teams, attend sporting events and cultural events; establish EAGLEXPRESS accounts; and purchase meal plans.

Campus Recreation & Intramurals (http://recreation.georgiasouthern.edu/)

CRI provides opportunities for students to participate in physical activities -- everything from gym facilities to club/intramural sports to Challenge Courses and Adventure Trips through "Southern Adventures."

Clubs/Student Organizations (http://georgiasouthern.orgsync.com/)

Get Involved! There are many clubs and organizations you can join ... some for fun, some for academic, professional, or religious affiliation.
Just remember, East Georgia State College students may NOT "go Greek." The charters of the social Greek organizations (fraternities and sororities) limit membership to Georgia Southern University students; you may be attending classes on Georgia Southern's campus, but you are an East Georgia State College student.

EagleCard (http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/aux/departments/eaglecard)

An EagleCard has many uses, including serving as a form of campus identification. It allows access to the RAC and carries EAGLEXPRESS, which is a stored-value account. When funds are deposited into an EAGLEXPRESS account, the student is able to use his or her EagleCard to make purchases. In addition to being accepted at Henderson Library, the GSU Bookstore, and all on-campus dining facilities, EAGLEXPRESS is also accepted at many area restaurants and convenience stores. Vendors are prohibited from accepting EAGLEXPRESS as payment for alcohol or tobacco products.

Health Services (http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/aux/health)

GSU's Health Services offers Health Education and Promotion Services in addition to Medical Services to EGSCS students.

Henderson Library (http://library.georgiasouthern.edu/)

Henderson Library is open seven days a week and offers traditional library services, workshops, and quiet places to study. There are also several computer labs located in the library.
