Spring 2019 Application
Housing Applications for the Spring 2019 Term (beginning January 11, 2019) are now being accepted. Please remember that housing is NOT guaranteed and we are making assignments on an as available basis. Housing assignments for Spring 2019 will not be solidified until December 21, 2018 and students should plan to receive an email on that day with the details of their housing assignment and the move-in process for spring or their status on the waitlist if applicable.
Remember, the $100 application fee for housing is non-refundable whether or not you receive a housing placement.
Housing Application for Summer 19 and Fall 19 will be available beginning on January 15, 2019.
Housing Application Requirements
ON CAMPUS HOUSING IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR SWAINSBORO CAMPUS STUDENTS ONLY.
While the College will make every effort to provide a room assignment, housing is not guaranteed.
We encourage students to apply for housing as soon as they are accepted to East Georgia, and to complete the requirements listed below.
TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE HOUSING APPLICATION, VISIT THE HOUSING APPLICATION LINK INSIDE MYEGSC PORTAL OR BY CLICKING THIS HOUSING APPLICATION LINK and logging on with your MyEGSC credentials.
Step 1: Log in to complete the online housing application. You can reach the housing application by clicking the link above, or by visiting MyEGSC and selection "housing application" from the launch pad menu.
Step 2: Submit your $100 non-refundable housing application fee. Credit and Debit card payments are now being accepted inside the housing application. (If you previously applied for Fall 2018 housing and did not receive housing, you do not have to pay this fee for Spring 2019)
If you do not want to, or cannot, pay by credit or debit card, cash and check payments will continue to be accepted at the EGSC Business Office. If you choose this method, it may slow the processing of your application. Your payment will be verified by housing before you will be able to continue with the online application. You will receive an automated email once your fee has been verified as received with instructions on what to do next.
Step 3: Sign the online contract by going back into the online housing application and finishing the remainder of the pages. Once your app fee requirement is satisfied, you will receive an email to your EGA student email prompting you to return to and finish your housing application. Your application is not complete until you have finished ALL of the online application pages.
Step 4: Complete and submit the Criminal Background Investigation Request Form. NOW PART OF THE NEW ONLINE HOUSING APP. Make sure you click the link for the CBI on the application status page at the end of the online housing application. (If you completed the CBI form for Fall 2018, you do not have to complete it for Spring 2019)
You will not be assigned a room space until you have completed the housing application, paid the non-refundable application fee, you have digitally signed the housing agreement, and your criminal background check is approved.
