Mission Statement
Unquestionably, the greatest asset of any entity, corporate or public, whether labor or technologically intensive, is its employees.
The Office of Human Resources is, therefore, dedicated to the institution's mission through the recruitment, retention and advancement of qualified employees to achieve those goals and objectives defined by East Georgia State College in its role as a two-year unit of the University System of Georgia.
As a service wing of the institution, the office's mission is to enable East Georgia State College to promote the diversity required to have a representative employment population; to provide the infrastructure to foster the advancement and retention of qualified individuals; and to provide the framework to support a work environment conducive to equitable treatment, positive reinforcement, and recognition of employees' contributions, regardless of their employment status.
