Submit Official High School Transcript (You can receive provisional acceptance with a preliminary high school transcript or with a FAXED final transcript)
Final transcripts MUST include a graduation date to be considered official
OR - Submit GED scores (Scores must include all sections with a passing date)

Submit Official College Transcripts from ANY and ALL colleges attended
(Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX)

Submit Official Technical schools from ANY and ALL colleges attended
(Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX) - Submit Immunization Records along with the EGSC Immunization Form signed by a doctor or healthcare professional.
Apply for Financial Aid
- If you are interested in receiving Financial Aid (Pell Grant, Federal Student Loans, etc), HOPE or Zell Miller scholarship, please complete a current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and add EGSC’s school code (010997) so that our Financial Aid office may receive your information. Please be aware it can take from 5 to 7 days upon receipt to begin processing your information.

Complete and submit the GSU/EGSC-Statesboro application directly to Georgia Southern (Application is informational ONLY, you will not be applying for Admission)

Pay $30 Non-Refundable application fee directly to Georgia Southern University
This will allow student to obtain an EagleID card and meal plan via GSU but not until after the student has been through P.A.W.S. Orientation and received a schedule and EGSC CatCard.
Beginning Spring 2014, this application will need to be sent to the Swainsboro campus to verify completion. Upon receipt they will be forwarded to GSU for processing to ensure that students have completed application if they are attending the Statesboro location.
Verify Lawful Presence in the United States
Lawful presence can be verified in one or more of the following ways:
- A completed current year FAFSA
- Copy of a Georgia Drivers License issued on or after 1/1/08
- Copy of a Georgia ID card issued on or after 1/1/08
- Certified Copy of Birth Certificate (Faxed copies are NOT acceptable!)
- Copy of U.S. Certificate of Citizenship or Naturalization
- Copy of current Passport
Take the COMPASS Entrance Exam, if necessary
- SAT/ACT scores are not required; however, you may exempt the Compass if you have completed 17 RHSC (Required High School Curriculum) Units in High School and also have the following scores: SAT 430 (CR)/400 (M) or ACT 17 (E)/17 (M).
- 2010 and later graduates who have a score of 235 or higher on the English Language Arts (ELA) section of the Georgia Graduation Exam will be exempt from taking the Writing and Reading sections of the Compass Exam only.
