Any time that you use someone else's work, quotes or ideas in your paper or assignment, you must document where you got the information in your works cited or reference page. If you do not do this correctly, it could result in a charge of plagiarism.
For more information on how to cite sources correctly, consult the APA or MLA handbooks available at the Reference desk of the EGSC Library. The EGSC Library has also created a Citation Research Guide with information about both APA and MLA style as well as sample citations that you can download and print.
