Biography:
Prof. Courtney Joiner is a Professor of history, having joined the faculty of East Georgia State College in 2007. She graduated as a Bell Honors Program Scholar with a B.A. in history from Georgia Southern University, then she continued there to receive her M.A. in history. A consummate teacher, she has spent her career focusing on the best teaching methods for students to learn and appreciate history. While at EGSC, she has taught U.S. history survey courses, and she has worked to support the efforts of the College in a variety of committees. Her teaching interests include women in U.S. history, and she teaches on the Swainsboro campus.
