The Chains of Love Project is a favorite at East Georgia College. Whether you enjoy helping terminally ill children (who may not live very long), using your creative talents to make cards, writing sweet notes to kids, or just doing community service, this is a project for everyone! We pick children from all over the United States who are terminally ill and staying in a hospital for an extended period of time. The names are provided by the following web address: www.hugsandhope.com. Here you can learn about the children, keep track of their progress and see their pictures. This is such an inspiring activity that just makes you feel SO good about yourself, as well as bringing a smile to the face of a very sick child. Let a sick child know they are loved! |
