On November 13 and 14, East Georgia State College – Statesboro will present the Murder Mystery Dessert Theatre production of Just Desserts by Craig Sodaro.

Laser Spine Institute Scholarship

Laser Spine Institute has created a new scholarship opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students who are seeking a degree in a health- or science-based program, with an interest in pursuing a career in health care, or related fields.

Annual CGTrader Scholarship 2017

North Coast Financial $500 Scholarship

North Coast Financial is pleased to offer scholarships to current full-time college students who are pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance or other Business related degree.

Walter Harrison Scholarship

The scholarship fund will provide $1,000 to each scholarship winner’s educational expenses. The recipient’s primary residence must be the household of an Altamaha EMC member or Altamaha EMC employee. All Altamaha EMC members and employees are also eligible.

EGSC ecology students give report on SPS pond health


EGSC students in Dr. Breana Simmons’s ecology class for Fall semester 2016 conducted a series of studies on the pond at Swainsboro Primary School to test the pond’s viability for fish, plant life and other wildlife.

EGSC Biology students participate in research

EGSC students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Biology program are required to perform research under either the supervision of a member of the EGSC faculty or an outside researcher. This semester, a record number of four Biology students conducted research.

Students visit EGSC to learn about the CHOICE Program

Recently, Theresa Davis, Director of the CHOICE Program at EGSC, and Laura Raines, Instructor for the CHOICE Program, welcomed students from Swainsboro Middle School and Jefferson County High School in Louisville.

Toomey named GCAA Player of the Week

East Georgia State College’s Lawranz “Star” Toomey was selected as the Division I Georgia College Athletics Association Player of the Week for the week of December 19.
