Works In Progress Reader’s Theatre Production to be held Thursday

   East Georgia State College’s annual Works in Progress Reader’s Theatre Production will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 8 p.m. at EGSC-Statesboro. Directed by Professor Sebastian Verdis, this production is presented by the EGSC Performing Arts Club and the EGSC Foundation.
   The three plays performed are the winners of the annual Exit: Stage Right 10-Minute Play Writing Contest held each year in the fall. First place was A Part of the Other by Ronald S. Ellison of Swainsboro. Second place was Trail of Blood by Haley Henderson, Marin Valbuend, Cooper Chu and Jayden Hestyer of Savannah. Third place was Bus Nine by Kenneth Homer of Statesboro.
   The cast of this year’s productions includes Dana Nevil, Sandra Sharman-Price, John Parcels, Annie Harbin, Kierstan Leeks, Andrea Verdis, Ellie Arline, Gina Harbin, Chelsea Godwin, Alex Shroyer, Bob Marsh, and Jeffrey Howell.
   After the plays are presented, each author will be invited on stage to answer questions about their play and the writing process.
