Kelch named Interim Director of EGSC-Augusta

   Effective November 1, 2016, Nickolas Kelch will serve as Interim Director of East Georgia State College’s Augusta Campus, located on the Summerville Campus of Augusta University.
   Kelch has been employed as Assistant Director of Student Affairs at EGSC-Augusta since the program’s establishment in 2013, and has been a well-known and respected ambassador for EGSC throughout the region. As Interim Director, he will provide administrative leadership and oversight for the Augusta campus, which has grown from 96 students in Fall 2013 to 504 students in Fall 2016.
   Kelch earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina – Aiken and a master’s degree from Victory Baptist Christian College. He has 10 years of higher education experience, including enrollment management positions at Aiken Technical College, University of South Carolina – Aiken and Augusta Technical College.
   “EGSC is fortunate to have Nick’s expertise and willingness to carry forth the duties of this critical position,” said EGSC President Bob Boehmer.
   “I am thrilled to be in this position and look forward to continued success at East Georgia State College,” said Kelch. “Go Bobcats!”
   The search for a permanent EGSC-Augusta Director will commence in 2017.
