Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 25th and get your tickets now for an exciting, family oriented basketball extravaganza.  Wayne “Above and Beyond” Clark, phenomenal 10 Time Nike Slam Dunk Champion and current Guinness World Record Holder will bring his teammates to perform at the East Georgia State College Gymnasium that day; and you won’t want to miss it.  The internationally famous team members are lending their time and talent to assist the East Georgia State College Athletic Department in raising funds for scholarships to deserving student athletes.

“It will be an honor to help these hard working young students to achieve their goals.  We are looking forward to this opportunity because it allows us to give back to those who have always enjoyed and continue to support the Harlem Globetrotters,” says Clark.

This charity basketball game is a way the EGSC community and the surrounding Swainsboro community to assist well deserving students while treating themselves and their families to an exciting and rare opportunity.  It is particularly unique and pertinent to the community because the opposing team is comprised of respected persons and community leaders from the local area. These leaders and high profile personalities will risk their pride and egos all in the name of fun and for a very good cause.
