Fulford Center to host Diabetes Total Wellness program

Diabetes affects more than eight percent of the United States population, and heart attack is the most common cause of death in people with diabetes. Taking care of one’s diabetes and the conditions that come with it can help lower chances of heart disease.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center on the East Georgia State College campus will host “Risk Control for Heart Attack and Stroke,” Part Three of the Diabetes Total Wellness Series. There is no cost to participate, and enrollment is limited to 20.  Lunch will be served at noon, and the presentation will follow.
Pre-registration is required and may be made at 289-2464.
