The East Georgia State College baseball continues to fight for a spot in the conference tournament, but the door is quickly closing for the Bobcats.

The offense is still struggling to put runs on the board, but the team is consistently in very close games, where a hit here and there or a great defensive play at some point would give them the win.

The Bobcats had a huge three game series against Andrew College, and unfortunately could only grab one of those games. They lost the first one by a score of 6-4, the second by 3-1, and then finally came out on top by a score of 11-5.

This put the Bobcats at 11-29 overall and 4-19 in the conference as they began their series against South Georgia. The Bobcats would lose the first game by a score of 9-8 and are now preparing to start the weekend games against them.

The Bobcats badly need to win the series and the series against West Georgia Tech to possibly make the conference tournament.
