The East Georgia State College Criminal Justice Club has a passion for reaching out and helping the community. Each semester the club participates in at least one or two service projects. This semester the group decided to put together baskets for patients at the Cancer Center of Middle Georgia.
The idea came after the first meeting of the semester when Dr. Brittany Strickland told the group about her friend’s son who has cancer. The idea of the baskets grew from there. The group took on the project and has put together multiple baskets. They will be delivered soon to the cancer center located in Dublin, Georgia.
EGSC would like to offer a special thanks to the Dr. Strickland and the club members involved: Morgan Bryant, Teressa Bount for making the sugar scrubs, Kassidy Randall, and Ahjoi Apparicio.
