East Georgia State College is delighted to announce that Volume 3 of the Coal and Peat Fires: A Global Perspective collection is being released next month (November, 2014). Editors Dr. Glenn Stracher, professor of geology at EGSC; and Drs. Anupma Prakash and Ellina V. Sokol compiled this  volume, which presents several informative case studies of coal fires around the world illustrated in full color in over 800 pages. It also includes a companion website with additional data and information. Elsevier is currently offering a 25% pre-order discount for this volume.
