Dr. Brittany Current, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at East Georgia State College, recently graduated with her doctorate in Psychology from Saybrook University, an online institution based in California, with accreditation from the Senior Commission of Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the appropriate regional accreditation agency, and one that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and by the State of California.
Along with her Doctoral Degree, Dr. Current also holds Masters degrees from Troy University and Saint Leo University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo.
Her children have been her inspiration for obtaining her degree and moving forward, letting nothing stand in her way.
Dr. Current has proven herself to be a vital member of the community. Her dedication has led her to serving in roles within Community Baptist Church in Swainsboro, Emanuel County Board of Family and Children Services, EGSC Criminal Justice Club, EGSC Student Disciplinary Panel, and the EGSC Housing Committee just to name a few.
Dr. Current has the passion and motivation to see this wonderful community prosper not only for her own family, but for everyone that lives here.
