Arizona Elementary School Student Learns About EGSC

Students in Adam Poirier’s AVID elective class at Wilson Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona, have been learning about various colleges and universities. To make the learning experience fun, students formed teams and contacted various institutions to request pennants in a quest to see which team would collect the most pennants. Student, Sara Flores, contacted EGSC President Bob Boehmer and received a pennant from the College for her team. We recently received the following acknowledgement from Sara, and we appreciate her interest in East Georgia State College.

Sara’s Note to EGSC:
Thank you for all the great gifts and pennant. At the moment we are winning the pennant war! I can't wait to see your website and see all that your school has to offer. Here is the picture you requested. Thank you again for your feedback. Go Bobcats!
Sincerely,
Sara Flores
