Online Fee Payment - Quick Guide

1.    Obtain your PIN.

  • You can retrieve your myEGC account by going to https://myegc.ega.edu and clicking the link "Click here to retrieve your MyEGC Username". Complete the form and then click the Search button and your myEGC username will be displayed.  Your initial password will be the last four digits of your social security number followed by the two-digit year you were born.  If you have already setup you myEGC account and forgotten the password you can use the Reset Passowrd portlet on the myEGC login page to change your password. You will be prompted for the response to one of your security questions you previously setup.

  • You can retrieve your BannerWeb account information by going to https://bobcat.ega.edu/pls/BANWEB/twbkwbis.P_ValLogin and completing the form and clicking the "Search" button. Your BannerWeb ID and your pin will be displayed on the screen.

2.    Go to a PC with an internet connection.

  • You can access Banner Web from the Student Lab next to the Library.

  • You can go to the Registrar’s Office to practice.

  • You can access Banner Web from home if you have a PC connected and an internet connection.

3.    Open a browser and go to the URL: https://myEGC.ega.edu and login in with your myEGC account information.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer works best

4.    Click the Banner Web Icon in the External Applications portlet: BannerWeb

5.    Enter Login and PIN, then click the LOGIN button. Note: if access Banner Web via the myEGC portal you should not be asked for a username and password to enter Banner Web.

6.    If this is your first time logging in you will have to enter a security question. Enter a question, the answer, and then click Submit.

  • Enter something you can remember the response to. This will enable you to gain access to Banner Web in case you forget your PIN.

  • Example: Question: What is my dog's name? Answer: Mutt

  • You cannot continue until you have submitted a security question and answer.

7.    If this is your first time logging in you will also have to agree to the Terms Of Usage. Click Continue

  • You cannot move forward until you have agreed.

8.    Click Student Services & Financial Aid.

If you are expecting Financial Aid please follow the instructions below carefully so you do not overpay.

10-14. Up until "Schedule Adjustment" is over, please use the following steps so that any authorized Financial Aid will be deducted from your Total Due. If "Schedule Adjustment" is over, go to next section.

  • If the Schedule Adjustment period is over, you will not be able to select a term for Registration Fee Assessment, please skip to the next set of instructions

10.  Click Registration.

11.  Click Select Term.

  • Select the Term you are registering for. If you are registering for multiple terms (ie Summer and Fall) you can only work in one term at a time. After finishing with one term go back to this link and select the other term.

12.  Click Registration Fee Assessment and review your charges and select method of payment at the bottom (Pay By Check or Pay By Credit Card).

13.  Complete the requested information and Submit Payment.

14.  Print receipt for your records.

10-15. After "Schedule Adjustment", please use the following steps.

  • Anticipated third party contract payments, financial aid, and memos are NOT included in the summary. Only disbursed funds will be shown.

10.  Click Student Records.

11.  Click Account Summary By Term or Account Summary.

12.  Review your charges and select method of payment at the bottom (Pay By Check or Pay By Credit Card).

13. Select Term

  • Select the Term you are registering for. If you are registering for multiple terms (ie Summer and Fall) you can only work in one term at a time. After finishing with one term go back to this link and select the other term.

14.  Complete the requested information and Submit Payment.

15.  Print receipt for your records.
