TriBeta Honor Society to hold plant sale

East Georgia State College’s Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society will hold a plant sale from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Quad in front of the greenhouse on the EGSC-Swainsboro Campus on April 22, 2017. The plant sale will be going on during the Bobcat Bash Music Festival.
Plants for sale will include different varieties of coleus, geraniums, Wandering Jew houseplants, basil, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, parsley and sage. The sale is a fundraiser for the TriBeta Honor Society, which was recently granted a local chapter of the National Biological Honor Society. This is the second honor society to have a local chapter at East Georgia State College.
Funds raised during the plant sale will be used to provide outreach to local schools.
