The 2018 Visual Essay Scholarship Contest

Randolph Rice Injury Attorneys is proud to announce the launch of its annual $1,250 scholarship. The purpose is to award a one-time $1,250 scholarship to help a deserving college or university student fulfill his or her potential.

Randolph Rice Injury Attorneys asks each scholarship applicant to combine a written essay with a visual campaign to address one of the following public safety issues:

  • Concerns that an individual may have after being involved in an accident
  • Consequences of drinking and driving
  • Safety tips to decrease distracted driving

Applicants must submit an essay of 750-1,000 words on one of the specified topics. Each paragraph of the essay will correspond to an original photograph that supports the subject. Please note that all photographs submitted must be taken by the applicant with a range of 4-6 photographs preferred.

Once the application period has ended, our scholarship committee will review the essays and photography. A winner will be chosen by June 15, 2018. The winner will be chosen based on the following factors:

  • Originality
  • Creativity

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college, university or law school for the fall of 2018.
