To apply, complete and submit the short online application by midnight PST on September 30th 2017. All applicants must submit a 500 word maximum essay on one of the two suggested essay prompts below. Student essays will be judged on their originality, creativity, and dedication to healthy lifestyle choices. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship award and a care package filled with organic products.
Option #1: Healthy Student Lifestyle
Why are you committed to living a non-toxic healthy lifestyle? How do you maintain your physical and mental wellness as a student? Is the cost or availability of organic + natural products a challenge? Has it been difficult or easy to make the healthy decisions? Why?
Option #2: Non-Toxic Skin Care
We’re looking for students who use non-toxic, natural, or organic skin care products. When and why did you make the switch to natural products? Did your skin improve? Why is it important for women to use non-toxic skin care?
To be considered eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must meet the requirements below. The award is intended to help students who are enrolled (or plan to be enrolled) as undergraduate or graduate college students studying in the United States. The scholarship winner will be asked to provide proof of current/future college enrollment. Recent college graduates, high school juniors, and doctoral candidates are not eligible to apply.
- Must be a graduating high school senior or current college undergraduate or graduate student studying at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical institution in the United States.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a woman.
- All majors are encouraged to apply.
- All GPAs will be considered.
