Senator Hill honored by GYSTC

On March 5, 2018, Senator Jack Hill was honored for his years of service and dedication to Georgia Youth Science and Technology Centers, Inc. (GYSTC) at the state capitol. Statewide Director Betsy Green presented Senator Hill with a commemorative plaque representing the service areas of GYSTC. Erin  Youmans, Regional Coordinator of Magnolia Midlands GYSTC, located at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, presented Senator Hill with an EGSC clock and a container of local honey to represent the latest project of the center—educating children about honey bees. Kenneth Griffin, MMGYSTC’s Board Chair, expressed his gratitude to Senator Hill for his support of GYSTC and the state’s education in general.
“Senator Hill’s support of this program has been immeasurable,” said Youmans.
