The applicant must submit an original essay of approximately 750 words (12-point, Times New Roman font) which articulates a circumstance or time-period which presented hardship and explains how those challenges were conquered and were prevented from deterring the applicant’s drive to further the greater good.
All eligible candidates must be enrolled in a course of study at an accredited community or junior college, undergraduate or graduate degree program, or a high school graduate preparing to embark on college-level studies. Potential recipients of the scholarship must show proof of good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of at last 3.0.
Deadline: All applicants must submit their full application by no later than October 31, 2017
