Nordson BUILDS Scholarship now available

As one of only two college locations in Georgia near a Nordson facility, East Georgia State College's students are eligible for the Nordson BUILDS Scholarship. Now accepting applications, students applying for the scholarship must be high school seniors or college students enrolling in an accredited, not-for-profit postsecondary institution, majoring in a field related to STEM or business and interested in a career in manufacturing, live near a Nordson facility or attend a school near a Nordson facility, maintain good academic standing and must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Nordson believes it’s their responsibility to make a positive impact in the communities where they live and work. They do that in many ways, including support for education to ensure students in their communities have access to opportunities to build a brighter future for themselves.
They also aim to develop a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry, so their Nordson BUILDS scholarships represent more than the average scholarship program. Last year, more than 150 students received BUILDS scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000. Plus, the students Nordson supports get exclusive primary access to internship opportunities and employment opportunities after graduation.
