East Georgia State College will host a special International Day event on October 10 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Luck F. Gambrell Building Rotunda. The main event will be a talk by Tammy Rosner, USG Director of International Education. She will speak at 11 a.m. in the Luck F. Gambrell Building Auditorium.
Rosner is the Director of International Education at the University system office, where she has worked since 2015. She has previously worked in International Education at both the University of Georgia and Georgia State University and has worked in the University system since 1996 in various roles. She received both a bachelor’s degree in History and master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. She has been an active member of both GAIE and NAFSA, holding state, regional and national leadership roles since 2000. Rosner studied Higher Education in Germany and Poland as a Fulbright Scholar through the U.S.- Germany International Education Administrators Program in 2005.
Tables will also be set up in the Rotunda to advertise various Study Abroad opportunities for EGSC students, including a Spring Break trip to Italy and a Maymester session in Costa Rica.
