The East Georgia State College Women’s Basketball Team defeated Central Georgia Tech Wednesday night in a very exciting game. The Bobcats won by a score of 68 to 66.
With the victory the team will host the first round of the GCAA Tournament on Tuesday, February 25 at EGSC. This is only the second time in the 10-year history of the women’s basketball program that the women’s team has hosted a playoff game at EGSC.
EGSC would like to wish Coach Goosby and the entire women’s basketball team a big congratulations on their accomplishments.
Our East Georgia State College Men’s Basketball Team played the first-place conference team and defending champions, Central Georgia Tech, to a final score of 71 to 67. The Bobcats traded the lead on several occasions with Central Georgia Tech in an entertaining game, but fell in the final minute to Tech.
The final home regular season games will be held on Saturday, February 22 during East Georgia State College’s Homecoming Week. The games will be held at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
