EGSC scholarships now accepting applications

Applications are now open for two Spring 2018 scholarships to East Georgia State College. They are the Beta Sigma Phi Non-Traditional Scholarship and the Bryant, Dorothy and John Black Scholarship.
The Beta Sigma Phi Non-Traditional Scholarship is awarded in the Spring semester of 2018. The $1,000 award is made to a non-traditional (out of high school five or more years) wife and/or mother that has gone back to school. Scholarship and need are part of the criteria, but the major determining factor in selection is completion of an essay answering the question, “What would it mean for you to win this scholarship?”
The Bryant, Dorothy and John Black Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $300 in the Spring 2018 semester and is based on an application, essay, merit and school involvement.
To apply, go to www.ega.edu/scholarships and choose “apply for a scholarship.” Complete the application first, then select the scholarship for which you’d like to apply.
Please contact Elizabeth Gilmer at 478-289-2037 or egilmer@ega.edu with any questions. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2017. The scholarships are open to students on all three of EGSC’s campuses – Swainsboro, Statesboro and Augusta.
