The next few weeks will be filled with sports at East Georgia State College. The EGSC Baseball Team will begin their fall season with a showcase at Kennesaw State University Friday, September 27.  The Sophomore players will be showcasing their talents in front of 40 coaches from four-year institutions in hopes of playing at the next level next year.

On September 28, the East Georgia State College Softball Team will travel to Augusta University for a double-header fall scrimmage beginning at noon and 2 p.m.  The Bobcats have started the season at 4 and 0 and look to add two more wins on Saturday.

The men’s basketball team will start the season on Friday, October 4 in the Fourth Annual Mid-Day Madness Kickoff Game at East Georgia State College.  The Bobcats will be taking on New Rock Prep at noon in the Bobcat Den.  All fans are encouraged to come out and support the Bobcats as they begin their season.

Women’s basketball will travel October 5 to Albany, Ga. for the Annual Darton Jamboree to begin their season.  Game times for the tournament have not been set at this time.  On October 5, the baseball team will also be at Savannah State for games.
