Has Been Created Just For You:

East Georgia College at Statesboro (EGCS) Offers Classes To Area Students Through An Initiative By The University System of Georgia. The new initiative gives area students from Appling, Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Effingham, Evans, Montgomery, Screven, Tattnall, and Toombs Counties enrollment opportunities to attend EGCS beginning Fall Semester 2003. The new option makes it possible for qualified students from these counties to apply directly to East Georgia College at Statesboro without being referred by GSU.

Students who complete 30 hours of coursework with a "C" or higher grade point average, excluding remedial courses and CPC requirements, are then eligible to transfer to GSU.

Also, students who attend East Georgia College Statesboro Center are issued a GSU student identification card, and enjoy many of the benefits associated with GSU, including:

All first-time students at East Georgia College are required to take the Compass Placement Test. There is no charge for this exam and the purpose is to properly place students into classes that will prepare them for the rigors of college level courses. Dates and times for the Compass Test will be mailed to you upon notification that you wish to enroll in East Georgia College Statesboro Center. You may also access this information by checking our online Test Schedule.
