Student Services

Student Services for students attending East Georgia College at Statesboro are provided by Georgia Southern University. Because EGCS students pay the GSU Student Services fees, they receive a GSU student identification card (Eagle Card), which enables them to utilize GSU's library facilities, computer labs, and Health Services; participate in clubs and intramural sports teams, attending sporting events and cultural events; establish EAGLEXPRESS accounts; and purchase meal plans.

bulletClubs/Student Organizations (http://georgiasouthern.orgsync.com/)

Get Involved! There are many clubs and organizations you can join ... some for fun, some for academic, professional, or religious affiliation.

Just remember, East Georgia College students may NOT "go Greek." The charters of the social Greek organizations (fraternities and sororities) limit membership to Georgia Southern University students; you may be attending classes on Georgia Southern's campus, but you are an East Georgia College student.

bulletEagleCard (http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/aux/eaglecard/eaglex.php)

An EagleCard has many uses, including serving as a form of campu identification. It allows access to the RAC and carries EAGLEXPRESS, which is a stored-value account. When funds are deposited into an EAGLEXPRESS account, the student is able to use his or her EagleCard to make purchases. In addition to being accepted at Henderson Library, the GSU Bookstore, and all on-campus dining facilities, EAGLEXPRESS is also accepted at many area restaurants and convenience stores. Vendors are prohibited from accepting EAGLEXPRESS as payment for alcohol or tobacco products.

bulletHealth Services (http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/aux/health)

GSU's Health Services offers Health Education and Promotion Services in addition to Medical Services to EGCS students.

bulletHenderson Library (http://library.georgiasouthern.edu/)
