ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT East Georgia College, a 2-year, degree-granting institution of the University System of Georgia, is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant in Student Services. This integral customer service staff position will serve as an information resource and will oversee front office management in the EGC student services complex; will also assist with student organization activities and recordkeeping. Duties include: receptionist/phone responsibilities and calendar coordination for the student center; maintenance of budget information/reports for student organizations; maintenance of college information and student activities via webpage, e-mails, brochures, bulletin boards, etc.; assistance to Student Counselor and Student Life Coordinator. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED, minimum of 3 years administrative/clerical experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Two years of post-secondary education and work experience in a college setting is preferred. Successful candidate must possess very strong oral and written communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a confidential background investigation for security purposes. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. TEMPORARY FINANCIAL AID CLERK East Georgia College, a two-year, degree-granting institution of the University System of Georgia, is accepting applications for a Financial Aid Clerk. This is a temporary position and benefits are not available. This position will assist the Financial Aid Office in administering student financial assistance. Excellent clerical ability, general computer knowledge, along with good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
