ECONOMICS Instructor or Assistant Professor of Economics. Doctorate preferred. Masters degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours of subject specific work in the field required. Ability and credentials (SACS accreditations standards) to teach a second area is an advantage. Full-time faculty teach 15-16 semester credit hours per semester, day and/or evening, on and/or off campus. Faculty are responsible for professional development, service to the institution and community, participation in college and community activities, academic advisement, and instructional assessment. Competence in electronic communications, as well as distance learning, is desired. Candidates should be committed to the two-year college mission, with a primary interest in the teaching/learning process as related to the two-year college student. Instructor/Assistant Professor of Biology and Integrated Science RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time faculty at East Georgia College teach 15-16 semester credit hours on and/or off campus, day and/or evening. In addition to teaching, faculty are responsible for professional development, service to the institution and community, and participation in academic advisement and instructional assessment.
