Pre-Professional Programs

Where will you go from here?

Most students who plan to enter into a professional field transfer to complete their four-year degrees and then master’s or professional degrees, and work as teachers, nurses, pharmacists, physician’s assistants, physicians, researchers, engineers, radiologists, nutritionists, attorneys, optometrists, physical or occupational therapists, radiologists, or any number of specialized fields of medicine, engineering, or law.

EGSC pre-professional students have transferred to complete their degrees at: Armstrong State University, Georgia College and State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Augusta University, Mercer University, and University of Georgia.

*NOTE: Depending on the admission requirements of the professional school to which you plan to apply, the programs at East Georgia State College are from one to two years in length.
