Dr. Brittany Strickland is an associate professor of criminal justice at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro. She currently teaches the Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Courts and Basic Criminal Procedure, and Social Science Research courses. Before teaching at EGSC, she was an outreach prison ministry counselor with New Mercies Christian Church. Dr. Strickland is active with the EGSC Student Conduct Panel and Criminal Justice Club.

Research Interests:
Prejudice, role difficulties, and behavior among college students of various cultural backgrounds
Issues of ethnicity, gender, and class in America
The impact of drug and alcohol abuse on adolescent development
