East Georgia State College’s Bobcat Holiday Classic Begins Friday

          The First Annual East Georgia State College Bobcat Holiday Classic will be held Friday and Saturday, December 20 and 21, at the East Georgia State College Gymnasium, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
          The two-day tournament will feature top men’s junior varsity and varsity high school athletes from the region. The public is invited and the cost is $7. GHSA passes will be accepted. Concessions will also be available.
          “We encourage everyone interested in exciting local basketball to join us for this first annual tournament. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. the Dodge County Junior Varsity will play Swainsboro High Junior Varsity.  The varsity games will follow at 7 p.m. as Thomson High School competes again Beach High School and at 8:30 p.m. Swainsboro High School will play Windsor Forest High School,” commented Men’s Interim EGSC Bobcat Basketball Head Coach and part time health and physical education instructor, Coach Leroy Jordan.
          “On Saturday evening, December 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dodge County High School will compete against Screven County High School. At 7 p.m. Thomson High School vs Windson Forest High School and at 8:30 p.m. Swainsboro High School will compete against Beach High School. You are invited to join us for fast pace, exciting ballgames,” concluded Coach Jordan.
