Department News - Plant Operations

The Plant Operations Department at East Georgia State College would like to give everyone an update on our employees. We have several new members to our Plant Ops team who have been with us a few months and we would like to welcome them!  With all of the progress and improvements that have been made to our campus, our new teammates are sure to help in all the necessary areas to keep East Georgia State College looking its absolute best!
In our Landscape Grounds Department, we would like to welcome Daniel Flowers. He has been a great asset to the Grounds department and helps to make our campus look its best. John Mark Sweat has recently come on board, and is currently involved in training to join our excellent team.
Our Custodial Department is constantly expanding to cover the faculty, staff, and student needs around campus. Some of the new employees that you may not see but that are here working hard while we sleep are Willie Freeman, David Colli, and Sara Hobbs. Sara has recently transferred from the Housing custodial position to a full time position. They make certain that every day is a fresh start for all of us here at campus.  Anna Roberts is our Housing custodian who keeps things neat for all of our students living on campus. Last but not least, is Tom Parillo. Tom works on campus during the daytime hours and takes care of all the things that helps keep EGSC running smoothly for us.
At our Statesboro facility, Keith Murphree has just come on board part time. He joins Felix Loya in Building Maintenance to keep everything ticking in Statesboro-welcome Keith!
