The Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center at East Georgia State College will kick off the annual Total Wellness Series this month.
The Total Wellness Series serves to help community members who have made the commitment to attaining and maintaining a healthy weight, reducing the risk of chronic disease and promoting overall health in 2016. The free sessions will begin at noon on each day and will feature lunch, a presentation and door prizes. The sessions begin on February 11 with “Enjoy Healthy Food That Tastes Great.” The next session will be held May 17, “Quick, Healthy Meals and Snacks.” The third session will be September 8, featuring the topic “Eating Healthy on a Budget.” The fourth and final session of 2016 will be November 10, “Tips for Losing Weight and Keeping it Off.”

At each session, participants will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from Sweet Tea Grille. Participants attending all four sessions will be entered into a drawing to win a gift card from Wal-Mart.
